Fteocs 2nd Gear April 1, 2019 Share April 1, 2019 Hi fellow Mz6 owners. Just got inundated by a bunch of error messages on my Mazda 6. Indicating malfunction of almost all the active safety systems on the car (Smart City Brake Support, Forward Sensing Camera, Driver Attention Alert, Lane-keep Assist, Lane-departure Warning System). Kind of disappointed given the car is barely 6 months old... Off and restart engine, back to normal? ↡ Advertisement
Lawrance_gan 1st Gear April 1, 2019 Share April 1, 2019 thanks side track a bit, sometimes i wonder whats the best way to overtake. Do i drop a gear or engage sport mode? Dropping a gear is more intuitive and quicker with paddle shift When I drove Mazda 3, it has only manual shift mode, that's the same as you dropping gear with paddle shift. It was quick to gain the power to overtake. For the mazda 6,i would prefer sports mode. It maintain the high RPM high power and I find it is smoother than manual shifting. I simply trust the computer than my own hand... But manual shifting give you the fun for sure.
DK3410 4th Gear April 1, 2019 Share April 1, 2019 One off? I get it when i parked under the sun and more than 40deg temperatures. Nope. And I had just sent it in for servicing that very morning... -___- Maybe they updated the firmware or something and it bugged the system. @fteocs: No, after a restart of the car the error messages pop up again. In particular when the gear is put into "D". If you leave it long enough in "P", the messages will start appearing as well. Strange thing is the other systems slaved to the forward sensing camera, such as: 1) Rain-sensing wiper 2) Light sensor (for the automatic headlights) 3) Traffic Sign Recognition They still work! The manual stated these uses the front camera? That's strange because they don't in other cars.

Thinker00 1st Gear April 4, 2019 Share April 4, 2019 From an online manual: (Walk-away auto lock function) A beep sound is heard when all doors and the liftgate are closed while the advanced key is being carried. All doors and the liftgate/boot lid are locked automatically after about 3 seconds when the advanced key is out of the operational range. Also, the hazard warning lights flash once. (Even if the driver is in the operational range, all doors and the liftgate/boot lid are locked automatically after about 30 seconds.) If you are out of the operational range before the doors and the liftgate/boot lid are completely closed or another key is left in the vehicle, the walk-away auto lock function will not work. Always make sure that all doors and the liftgate/ boot lid are closed and locked before leaving the vehicle. The walk-away auto lock function does not close the power windows. Based on the manual, i guess if you close driver door first, then open and close rear passenger door, it will not work. Doesn’t work for me. Complained during servicing n the staff said it’s not activated

Fteocs 2nd Gear April 5, 2019 Share April 5, 2019 at this price ... it's a NO BRAINER to get A4 2.L turbo The audi A4 non quattro is around high $160k close to $170k,but with virtual cockpit thrown in,rear camera that's about it. That's almost 30k difference I supposed some buyer still may find the difference too big Also A4 not that fantastic besides the badge and the fancy cockpit thing, worth 20+ to 30k... To each his own Based on memory (could be wrong): settings, vehicle, lock, walk away lockThe checkbox set to tick, should work ↡ Advertisement
