Ya...a few rubber dealers are selling them at very cheap price. Just make sure it's EPDM rubber and can withstand heat.

And also make sure clean the surface as I have mentioned earlier before installing. [:)]

I done up mine....but price on the high side as I got the materials from Autobacs. It's from Japan.

Maybe you guys can take a look at their website. http://www.amon.co.jp/seihi/seihi_group.php?id=313

I used item no. 2649 and 2652. End result not bad...the rubber qualities are so far the best. Using real 3M tape.

I used many types in the past from hardware shops and etc....but it was real hell for me....those cheapo products failed me. Till I gave up and stop believing on cheap rubbers seals.

I rather spend more for quality rather then so much hassle of installing and removing...most importantly.. waste my money. [bigcry]

I went Autobacs recently to walk around, but cannot this stuffs you mentioned, which outlet you went?? The website shows different strips for different use, which is very interesting. Good stuffs.

zippo lighter fuild is good to clean the surface before sticking...

it's oil based.. thus it can remove the dirt from the surface for your adhesive to stick effectively.

of cos.. u can use a lint free cloth to clean... even better.

Ya....up to individual. Some they use all the leftover and joint them for the rear door. (But dun look nice)

So best is get 3 to 3.5m more for the rear door. If big SUV...sometimes need around 4m.

It's a lot more compared to those they mentioned for the group buy. The price is really on the high side..per pack of 4m plus cost around $40+.

But to me...I used many before...doesn't turned out to last due to hit...deformed. Ended up wasted more $$ even it was cheap.

So far these product I used....really a [thumbsup]
