Davekiat Clutched January 30, 2011 Share January 30, 2011 I'm in the market for a second hand car. Looking to upgrade from my tomyam Vios to a 2006 Mazda 6. How is this? What is the fuel consumption like? Should I be expecting 8-9km/litre? ↡ Advertisement

Expertz 1st Gear January 30, 2011 Share January 30, 2011 here's my take i was considering between the m6 and legacy ended up choosing the m6, went to see and test drive the car but met with a very rude dealer went home and saw that jdm accord is going for cheaper than a m6 bought a jdm accord instead can consider the accord, its an older model but engine is far more powerful and better fuel consumption too
Vhtfhwlego Supercharged January 31, 2011 Share January 31, 2011 Mazda 6 2.0 is ok if that you are comparing price of 40K~50K for a 2006 executive car. FC is about 8~9km (50% highway, 50% City). If that you are able to afford a little more, get an Accord. The plus point of Accord: Engine is better in terms of power and FC +8% better. The plus point of Accord: Driver's Car (All honda is driver's car (feel of steering wheel grips better but wear for leather is higher)... However, accord is price at 50K~60K... Another thing is, only MZ6 got factory audio systems with mulit function steering with cruise control. You will feel it is better drive if that you are always on the phone while driving. But if that you are looking at 50K~60K, there are so many others to choice for. 2006 Luxury Sedans 50K~60K List: HONDA Accord JDM HONDA CIVIC 2.0 Subaru Legacy TOYOTA MARK II TOYOTA CAMRY The list goes on and on... If that you get anyone of these, I will opt none... As the price it is ok however the OMV is so low that depreciation doesn't make sense. Final choice if that I am you now, I get a MZ6 for buget of 40K. If that I can afford more and dont mind a Manual, I happy with my current ride...
