Tigershark1976 Turbocharged February 14, 2011 Share February 14, 2011 (edited) wanli dunno... but firenza its a killer tyre especially in wet... my 1st accident is caused by Firenza ST05... braking in the rain with firenza is just skating on the ice... even my badly worn, lousy Nankang tyre is better performer in wet! even the Firenza ST03, made in Japan, which is suppose to be a better version also sucks big time! Paladin Neutral Newbie February 17, 2011 Share February 17, 2011 I'm using Firenza ST-05A for about two weeks. 195/55/R15 at $85 each. No problem braking in the wet and it is surprisingly very quiet. I don't drive fast during wet weather, normally 80km/hr or slightly faster if road condition permit on expressway, and keep a safe distance away from vehicle in front. Eagle F1!! you compare firenza ST05 with Eagle F1 and both performe equally good in wet? I dont meant to be hard but Bro, please be responsible with your comment. from the way you compare, im 100% sure that u talk noncense! i have used both tyre before and Im 100% sure that firenza is not even 1/2 as good as F1 in terms of wet braking. Kelvingoh45 Clutched February 18, 2011 Share February 18, 2011 (edited) 2 weeks ago i change 195/60/R15 for $115 each. Can only feel that the ride is softer and more comfortable. Cant really tell any diff on braking. All tyres skid on wet and good on dry. Bro dont be stingy on tyre la get a descent one u only need to pay like $100-$150 more only. At least when driving u will feel more confident.Furthermore that set of tyre is going to take u for 30000-40000km which is about 2 years time.Cheers.........
