X-9 is only comparable to XT.

X-0 still can compare with XTR. then its the SRAM XX, which is slightly better in terms of weight. not sure about preformance and reliability.

looks like u'll bust your 3k budget.

how does sram x-9 compare against xtr

bro XTR win cause Sram u should use X.O to compare with XTR, while X-9 is XT level.

actually XTR or Sram X.O both are equally good just each of it own.

I prefer XTR cause I like Dual control lever shifter, I find shifting easier. just like some people like manual, auto, DSG or selespeed etc

u'll hardly go wrong with shimano. their brakes are also better than avid IMO.

I've used juicies and elixirs before and shimano's XT brakes alone are already better.

XT brakes is very good as in the biting [thumbsup] but XTR from my own bike experience, and mine is the previous seasons 965, intial disc brake bite a bit soft or sponge. than one day trip in Bintan after I got into accident, break my brake hose and I change to goodridge steel hose now my brakes [thumbsup]

thus I am thinking changing my car brake hose to goodridge too ha ha

goodridge hoses are a good investment if u have a set of trusty brakes that u dont want to discard.

normally for bikes, original hoses are good enough. it could be due to the fittings or bleeding that's causing the problem.

I'm still using my XT for almost a year... white goodridge hoses and cable set akan datang...
