Just curious, I always see those people taking photos of others when there is a quarrel either on parking issue or other matters... Can the person that kena taken photos of sue the other party? or in the eye of law there is no fault of taking photos of others?

not taling about upskirt, I mean decent photos at public places... is it legal?

Yes, if it is not some indecent stuff, it is legal since public place....... but the fella kena taken can ask the taker to stop and erase, within his right.... the taker can refuse to erase what he has taken, but has to stop taking since he is already ask to do so, else the taker can be sue for harrassment.... so usually if both dont gibe way.... you should know who suffer in the end......

RIP dear oh camera.... [laugh][bigcry]

msot of the others say is correct, however insofar as the person being taken in the picture do not sue you for personal loss, infringement, loss of privacy etc.

rem the famous case, a restaurant used picture of Chiam See Tong for their rest without asking his permission. they got sued and had to make restitution
