i would suggest la casa in regent hotel for its good selection of cigar.

alternatively, you can also go to olde cuban in pagoda street or con divan in ue square.

i prefer la casa or olde cuban which allows me to have a nice coffee while enjoying my cigar.

Digging up this old thread as wanna ask the gurus here where to go buy cigars that cost no more than $10 per stick.

And which brand/type to recommend? I never smoke before.

Buying for a friend who usually smokes Camel cigarettes.

Hmm.. this thread is more sure to attract T2 than honey is to attract ants. :D

Actually - this would be better placed under "Men's Hobby" subforum right?

Cigars that cost no more than $10 here in Singapore, can only be cigarillos.....heeehee.

On a more serious note, your fren who smokes Camel is unlikely to enjoy a good cigar.

But If you are truly keen to try a nice Cuban, i would suggest the following as very good starters

ElReydelMundo Choix Supreme

HoyodeMonterey EpicureNo.2

RomeoyJulieta ExhibicionNo.4

Enjoy!

You can buy them from all your usual cigar retailers in town.

Eg. LaCasa at Regent, Oaks at greatworld, ConDivan at UE square, Davidoff at taka and hyatt, etc etc...

My recommendations retail for about $30 to $35 a stick.

Ps. And plse Dont waste your time and money on a Monte Cristo No.4 (only people who dont know their stuff recommend that = most shop assistants)
