I was driving down lane 1 of PIE when I heard honking from behind. Upon checking the rear view mirror, I saw a motorbike directly behind me and a blue car partly filtered into lane 1. Obviously blue car driver had forgotten to check blind spot before filtering. Blue car then switched back to lane 2 and drove almost parallel with my car.

 

Biker was no doubt blinded by road rage because he suddenly dashed into the gap between our two cars so he could give the other guy the stare. Mind you this was one of those bigger bikes that had stowage boxes at the side so the distance between our 3 vehicles was literally in mm.

 

Isn't it ironic how having narrowly escaped death, this biker then willingly put himself within a sliver of becoming a meat sandwich?

 

Blue car then filtered to lane 3 then 4, with angry biker still in pursuit and still giving the stare.

 

Another incident happened at night at Marina area, near the entrance to ECP. Not sure what started it, but car A was tailing car B aggresively, horning and flashing away. Driver of car A then lowered the window and started throwing stuff at car B before giving the 3rd finger salute and speeding off.

seen similar incident along leng kee before. the biker catch up with the car and spit saliva afew times at the car. the lady driver of the car look stunt!!

I saw this afternoon, on PIE towards city, just after bukit timah entry to PIE, a BMW cut into lane 1 just less than a metre in front of a taxi. I was about 2 cars behind the taxi.

 

Very dangerous stunt by the bimmer, and the taxi had to hardbrake to avoid a collision.

 

After that, I expected the bimmer to speed up and match the road speed.. but no.. it start to crawl along lane 1 machiam it was his father's road, at about 70-80kph.

 

Soon a tailback started to form behind it, and the taxi, obviously pissed, started to tail-gate the bimmer very closely.

 

I decided to get away from the fracas, and overtook both of them from the left and cut back in to lane 1 in front of the bimmer.

 

From the rearview, i could see the bimmer driving yet so slowly, and the taxi still tailgating the bimmer angrily... very soon I was far in front of the bimmer, and many other cars came into lane 1 behind me until cannot see the 2 cars anymore.

isn't there a case few months back where a motorcyclist follow a driver all the way back to his flat until the police was called?

i notice there's quite alot of motorcyclist just like to switch on their high beam at night.maybe they are asking for it.

but i can understand wat the biker went thru..

 

i honk a van (van was ferrying pre-schoolers!!!!) once for cutting into my lane.. he slowest lane (on my left).me 2nd lane.. it was a morning along PIE.. not much cars and i wasnt hogging.the van cut into my lane.. obviously didn't see me.. almost knock me down.. i honk.. and gave him my palm.

he got a shock ..went behind me.. and to my right hand side.. this time, deliberately cut into my lane and slow dw infront of me.. my fingered stayed on my honk for the longest time.. until he drove to my left and filter off..

 

i had my pillion to video the entire saga. send to LTA.. tat was a month back.. till date, no response.. #$%^&*

Sometime i tend to be blind by rage too...speed up just to give the other party a stare...but with my family inside...i try to control..

At the end of the day, I do find it stupid and childish by doing it.....but still...sometime it happens hahahaha

I managed to catch a glimpse of Car B's driver. Youngish guy looking guy maybe late teens or early 20s. Damn poor thing he had the body language of someone who just kena .

This one is not really road rage but inconsideration and kayu-ness. Accident happened at cp exit ramp near main road and both parties ( ) stood outside their vehicles looking rather lost while a jam snaked all the way down ramp to the exit gantry.

 

Heng I was on my way in. Later i used a different exit.

my experience was

it was at a T junction

i was on minor road need to turn right

bike on major road going from left to right

 

i sworn that i check clear both ways with no traffic

but once i turn i heard a loud horn on checking my rear mirror it was a 400cc bike

i knew instantly i was wrong cause i could cause the guy his life

 

i put up my hand and mutter the word sorry a few times

of course the guy still piss off

he rode in front of me then i overtook him from the right in the next lane

i saw he was still staring but while overtook him i again raise my hand open palm to say i'm sorry

i think that kind off cool him off as after that he too raise his hand open palm

 

what i'm trying to say here

if you are wrong please admit and apologise

this to prevent any unpleasant experience

 

other road users cut into my lane kena horn by me because to prevent an accident

Just do what I usually do lah....look at the driver with a disappointed face and shake your head....

 

The effect is much much better than pointing middle finger.

Actually our locals not so hiong already..

 

When I was in Vietnam, I saw this motorcyclist and car driver having a heated argument.

Suddenly, the driver (around forty plus uncle but quite muscular) just open door and bang the motorcycle a few times. The poor rider started wobbling and then as if not enough, that uncle whack again until motorcycle toppled and rolled down the slope!!!

I kind of....road raged once.

 

Traveling at some weird time of the day so very little vehicles. I came up to this guy doing 70 in lane 1. Hogging, to be honest. I usually just follow behind a while (not tailing yet), then slowly reduce the distant.

 

But after tailing a while, the guy not moving off, well, I just move to lane 2 to over take. No biggie, I guess.

 

Then the guy try to speed up to not let me overtake.....

 

Quite pissed by now, to be honest. My car a bit faster than his (or my foot heavier. Not important, anyway), so still overtook.

 

As I said, pissed off, so I slowed down purposely to near 60.

 

Kind of stupid, but....eh.
