My family and my friends living nearby got ours at those shops in Alexandra Village for the past 30 yrs. Compared to those chain stores is cheaper and now they accept credit cards too! Kopites Supersonic April 9, 2011 Share April 9, 2011 I was shopping at AV (bukit merah lane) couple of months back for a KDK stand fan. My conclusion is that u do need to ask amongst all the shop there. The px varies from 5 to 10 dollars diff for that KDK fan but definitely cheaper than those big mega store. KARTer 2nd Gear April 9, 2011 Share April 9, 2011 Where do you guys get home electrical appliances (TV, Fridge, Washing Machine, etc) at good price? my good fren is a 'free-lance' promoter of such items, he is stationed at various 'big sales' events representing different brands (depending on who employs him for that particular events)......... after working 10 years as a promoter, he has really good knowledge and lobangs whenever i need to buy something.......... he is the ONE i 'consult' when i buy things....(in particular appliances) and always end up with real good buys!! I can't rem the name of the shop but if you're looking at the shops from the old SAFRA view, it's the left corner shop on the building where DBS is. However do note that some shops are actually under the same owner 'cos I went into the other shop and eventually the guy brought me to this outlet to view some more fridge and also to make payment there. Nevertheless, you should check around elsewhere too for the price 'cos sometimes Best Denki and Gain City sometimes got offers. Happy hunting!!!
