SimplyTWL 1st Gear April 11, 2011 Share April 11, 2011 Hi guys, just wondering if any of you have this issue and how do you solve it. Over the weekend it was pouring rain heavily, and i drove my whole family out for dinner then realised that my rear left door is leaking. My mum who was sitting behind told me that. So how or what can i do to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance. ↡ Advertisement

Change the gasket or install the shield if you have not done so.
Clementi123 Neutral Newbie August 8, 2013 Share August 8, 2013 So TS what's the actual cause of leak?
Barbarik Neutral Newbie August 8, 2013 Share August 8, 2013 Mine faced the same issue of water leaking through the rear door behind the driver seat. WS changed thw door seal but problem still not solved, even I had paid more than a hundred dollars. In the end, I open up the inner door panel and repasted the "clear plastic sheet". This sheet is to stop water from going into the car and divert it to the small water outlet located at the bottom of thw door. Cost me nothing. Hope that is the also the root cause of your problem. So how or what can i do to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance. Check the rubber seals if ty r properly fitted. Also the alignment of the door if out can let water in. Worst is u need to change the rubber door seals or window seals. Oh n chk if the door has rust all the way tru cos that wil also let water in. First u need to check where is the leak n solve from there. yr car got accident before ? maybe the structure already bent. my prev mercedes also had this problem... ever since it kenna langgah. Your repair was badly done. Door alignment out or the two sides not flush with each other. Can try to putty the affected part n paint. Sometimes it can solve the problem. ↡ Advertisement
