i think they used price point as the benchmark

we know 1.4 conti cars are turbo charged so priced same as Jap 2.0

the new jetta has a cheap interior as compared to mazda or hyundai?

tons of singaporeans will never believe you if you told them that!

The US Jetta has cheap interior to be competitive, but the Singapore Jetta would be the Euro version, which have much better interior and features. Thus the review is only applicable in the US. One also note the review mention Jetta has the best drive.....:)

even 1.4 scirocco looks cheap inside let alone jetta

in SG there is a lot of conti fanboys... conti means must be automatically good and better than asian makes

i think that mindset must change

price is not indicative.... bmw 320i 150k, the door shuts like a toyota crown teksi from the 90s

i can understand if you say korean interior matches the japanese which is on par with most contis

but scirocco's interior i think is way better than that of my honda accord, so i disagree

the scirocco is a great car but too bad its seriously fugly

scirroco's interior looks similar to Jap rides... only the wheel is uglier than even Korean

mini, completely different class

ya but scirocco has more of that soft touch plastics all over the place than an accord which still feels plasticky here and there

Unexpected results. But then US cars r diff from the cars here... i think i'd rate the jetta on top then the mazda, ford, elantra then cruze... Wish my mazda3 had 5 gears...

Turbocharged

Jetta Singapore version would be the best, still not too sure over the DSG though..

If Mazda 3 have more power n 5 gears, it will beat a lot of other cars..

Ford Focus and Mazda 3 quite similar...

Elantra specs looks damn good, but there will always be people who are anti korean..

Cruz i feel will be more suitable for pple from late 30s onwards :)

Yeah actually what's with the anti korean thing? I know i'm a little bias... but when i think bout it I don't really know why. The elantra and kia optima, forte are quite gd.
