The Verna 1.4 is a pretty good all round car. Manual is better in terms of power as the auto saps a lot of it away. On Manual the torque is pretty impressive.

The rear disc brake conversion is easy if you can source for parts at the scrappers (which is plentiful now)

ABS honestly works better on bigger, heavier cars. On lighter cars ABS can be a nuisance. On a more general note.. ABS requires a longer braking distance compared to cadence braking and a lot of accidents have resulted from poor estimation of distance because of the ABS.

After all... ABS stands for "Ann-Juah Buey Stop??!!"

Turbocharged

Accent has come a long way.

Now accent 1.4 comes with 4 disc brakes, ABS with EBD, traction control. 2 air bags.

Most commendable and impressive is the 6 speed manual gearbox for a basic bread and butter car.
