Balaballs 1st Gear July 17, 2011 Share July 17, 2011 May be not this round but I guess in the next 6mths Sure drop one lah....looks at the economy around the world....middle east, Europe and US. Only Asian market seems to be holding abit. It will be only a matter of time. If US default in their load repayment and it does not increase its borrowing limit to avoid a default.......Moody's and Standard & Poor's will for sure will cuts its top-notch credit rating from AAA to AA .....then we are in for serious trouble. Interest rate will go up and borrowing will go down and economy will slow down. What will happen to COE???? You guess it right.

Thank god China his there to check on them.....If not they will go around the world putting trade embargo for their own benifits.
SimonTan 2nd Gear July 17, 2011 Share July 17, 2011 Last chance to get cheap COE next week. Just anyhow book any car. Pray AD did not bid next week. Come august......the COE will shoot up to the roof. Thereby making all who book their cars at old Coe price, feels like a king for getting a $80-90,000 Coe within the 6 bids period. Eh not really true.. as china is also producing a lot to other counties also not just US.. So if US stop buying.. there is still other counties that buy china products.. look at SG.. how many prodetcs are made in china already.. So if US stop buying.. there is still other counties that buy china products.. look at SG.. how many prodetcs are made in china already.. [laugh] main global consumer is still US... theres no other country in the world which can replace them currently.. if US stops buying, i tell u the whole world will fall not even china can save them coz china isnt consuming enough yet... give them another 2-3 decades they may b there SG consumption is freaking small lah we r only 5m pple, US is 300m, no comparison. also think abt it, if US collapse, so many pple will b out of job here & many are dependent on MNCs hiring them...ayah anyway i cant b botheredto type anymore too many things to type.. go research on global consumer numbers yourself Edited July 17, 2011 by Duckduck

Fact is that if the 6 bids is non-guarantee, AD is under no contractual obligation to get the COE and deliver the car. ADs also has Open CAT COE that they have on hand and they can use if necessary. There is no sure win.
