But Alpard not carpark friendly. Need minimum 2m height limit carpark ..

True. The height of Alphard is tall and for some multi-storey carpark, the rear top may be at risk. Unless a reverse camera or some proximity sensor can cover that.

After driving estima for six and a half year , decided to change to this monster.

brought at 189k at Volkswagen Singapore under Interpol event, trade in my estima at a very good price.

so far so good after driving for more than 2 weeks.

2l turbo engine and fuel consumption is better than my estima.

Heard about the infamous dsg clutch, hope is doesn't affect this six-speed dsg wet clutch. [sunny]

189k is ~30k off the current list price

how did the deal work? they used the car for event and then registered it using open COE?

I'm driving one too. You got a better deal, the previous event car was offering at $195k.

Don't worry too much. Majority problem from 7speed dry clutch DQ200. I'm at 45k now, no problem. Another owner recently mentioned already at 84k also no problem. In case you're not aware, turbo engine drink engine oil which is norm, so remember to check regularly and top up when necessary.

I'm getting 8 - 8.3km/lt. Whats yours?

ya, indeed a very good deal.

I booked this Sharan mid March and I got the first bidding they bid for me ( March 2nd bidding Coe 71889 ).

They use this car for Interpol event for a week, I got my car at 27 April . ( mileage 600km ).

They let me use my estima until I get the new car. [thumbsup]

Finish 1st full tank and I clocked about 600km ( 70L tank and 30% highway )

Car run in pass 1000km now and hope to have a better FC on my second full tank.

Thanks for your advice,

I will check the engine oil regularly.

Actually not thinking of changing car so soon, just window shopping.

my wife quote them 70k trade in for my 3 and a half year estima and to my dis believe they actually agreed,

so for yearly depreciation, is about the same.( only top up 1k plus per year to drive new car )

they even throw in a Bluetooth for me.

Just passed 1000km mark, will update after 2nd full tank. [thumbsup]

From internet searches it seems to be 25-35mm.

Thanks. I read somewhere on the net that original is 39mm so I guess 35 to 45mm should be fine

Thought someone could let me know the actual 18" rims offset on their cars.

$189k is a good buy for the Sharan, especially when it is only 600km used [thumbsup]
