Hi, anyone using the Mobile-i f1000 DVR for their car?

I would like to check if is it a must to use the cable and 12V power adapter provided by them in order for the auto start and off to work when the car engine is switched on or off?

I have set mine to recycle: 500m but use my old car camera's USB cable to power it and it won't start or stop by itself when I on or stop my engine.

I have yet to use the cable provided by them to try. Hope someone can enlighten me on this point.

Thanks

Read the manual.

If its same as DOD-tec, u must select USB-in then it will auto start and stop. Sorry, I dont have this car cam. Just my guessing.

Thanks Adrian...I have the DOD too...but this one does not have the USB in selection....sigh

Hi there,

Have tested before like you, the auto start & record only works with the original charger it comes with.

Hope this will clear your doubt.

Cheers~

Hi, can someone who uses the mobile-i F1000 tell me what's recycle?

I don't get the 300M/500M/No in the menu.

What's the best setting for the EV, contrast and sharpness too?

Thanks in advance for reading ^_^

Supercharged

Did u buy it locally from one of those sponsors? If so u can asked them...

I think EV is to control the brightness. My cam I set it to '0'.

hi. the ev, i left it as default which is auto. as for the size of file, 300m is about 8 mins of recording and 500m is about 13 mins of recording per file.

hope i have answered your query.

Is this cam good. Seems to be one of the more popular models?

I find it not bad. Good in day and night recording. very clear.

I have checked mine. not problem with the date and time problem. maybe you shd disconnect from the power source and see if your build in battery can power up the set after half day or so. If cannot, I think it is the build in battery having problem.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply. When connected to the car, the dvr battery showed fully charged. Once removed from power source, it indicates low battery.

Now charging the dvr at home and see if the battery is functioning properly.

I've just started using it a few days ago. There's no problem with the date and time for me.

The video quality is very good too ^_^

anyway, thanks 3dwin for your answer!
