In one part, they were talking about how Germans attempted to march into Russia, Stalingrad, to invade Russia. At that time, Germans were mighty in their equipments and hardwares. i was shocked to learned from the documentary that the Russians started to train dogs to be like modern-day terrorists. They will train the dog to find food under tanks and vehicles, then they will starve the dogs to hunger. Then they stapped bombs to the dogs' bodies and they lie in ambush for the Germans tanks to come. Once the tanks are in sight, they will release the dog, the dog will run towards the tank, and the bombs will be ignited; disabling the tank, and the poor dog is blown to pieces. I search through internet and wiki also mentioned this technique used by the Russians http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-tank_dog So now, we cannot blame the Chinese for being cruel by eating dog meat, the bloody ang mo Russians are far worse than them. Police are investigating the slaughter of 100 husky dogs used to pull tourist sleds in the Canadian ski resort of Whistler during the 2010 Winter Olympics. The grisly killings were reportedly carried out by one worker over two days in April last year with a shotgun and a knife, with reports of injured dogs crawling out of a mass grave. Local media said the dogs were killed because business slumped in the two months following the Games and they were no longer needed by tourism companies Outdoor Adventures and Howling Dogs, which sell dog-sled rides to tourists. The case came to light on Monday after the unnamed worker claimed post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of killing the dogs, and was reportedly awarded compensation from British Columbia worker's board. Marcie Moriarty of the Society for Prevention of Animal Cruelty, the lead agency in the investigation, told the Vancouver Sun, "The way he describes [in the board's report] multiple shots and faces blown off and coming back on a second day is gruesome. "The way this employee describes it, it's a massacre absolutely, a criminal code offence. These dogs were killed in front of the other dogs that were all tethered up." The man's personal injury lawyer Cory Steinberg told news radio station CKNW, "It wasn't always a clean, one-shot kill. Inevitably he ended up seeing and having to put the end to some horrific scenes." A spokeswoman for the law firm refused to comment on the criminal investigation and Outdoor Adventures did not return repeated calls from AFP. The company's website, with photos of huskies and sleds, however, continued to advertise a dog sled ride for $C169 per person, "as a once in a lifetime experience [with] your team of energetic and loveable Alaskan Racing Huskies". Kiario 5th Gear October 17, 2011 Share October 17, 2011 i think during world war 2 in russia where humans are slaughtered in the thousands, what more the lives of animals? especially in stalingrad during the bitter demise of the germans army where they were encircled without food for weeks, reduce to eating horse meat, i believe they will not hesitate to eat a dog. USA in the 1900s use lots of child labour to work in their factory. Slaves from Africa was use as free labour etc. Im not saying these are right, juz wanna point out that the ang moh are not as saint and high class as one tot if u examine their history esp the part on Europe colonization, massacre on natives and Africa land grabbing using violence, in comparison to today context such action even worst den Taliban terrorism and WW2 jap & german nazi crime.
