Getting rid of paint smell...

Hi,

 

I have juz given the walls of my toilet a fresh coat of paint like 8 days ago,

but the fresh paint smell is still ard...

 

Anyone out there has effective method of getting rid of the smell?

Just changed my bed room doors and don't know what paint that the contractor used, the door emits out a very strong paint smell! Have been laying around the house with bowls of lemon and salts, but the smell doesn't goes off much? Anyone knows any more effective and fast method to get rid the smell eh?

If wood chipped type, could be internal rots.

Not sure abt lemon and salt. Should be using baking soda, carbon.

buy a sack of charcoal to try it out.

Could be coming directly  from the timber material not the paint.

Need to open thru door and window for evaporation

cannot work, lacquer it over to camouflage it.

New door le, cannot be rots. Maybe the door is painted with lacquer paint? That's why smell so strong.

Will try charcoal and see how. Lol.

 

Must buy activated charcoal to be effective.. 50x more surface area than normal charcoal.. buy from homefix or hardware shop..
