Escksu Clutched November 27, 2011 Share November 27, 2011 I think all will be scrapped all cover under insurance It depends. It may not be covered under insurance though. It really depends on whether Honda did purchase coverage for natural disasters.
Escksu Clutched November 27, 2011 Share November 27, 2011 What if the car is able to start after these damage, will it bring smiles or tears? Most of the time, the car will be able to start w/o any problem. The real problem is rust and corrosion. IMHO, car manufacturers will probably salvage whatever they can. Engine and transmission is still usable. Whatever they could not salvage will have to write off.
Escksu Clutched November 27, 2011 Share November 27, 2011 Btw, if Honda really sell these cars at dirt cheap prices, I would want to get it though. Rip everything apart and then rebuilt it from scratch. Chance to strengthen the chassis. Maybe even drop in a K20A...lol....
