Maybe book your gb firmware update on Fri.

Weekend drive around in areas that don't have jams.

Maybe that would help give a better start to the relearning.

Also don't stick so close to car in front so that you don't need to brake so often.

Look further up front to anticipate traffic also.

All these should help give a smoother trip and better relearning for the cvt.

Supercharged

As far as fc is concern....

Not much different for me

1/2 tank travel about 400km

1/4 tank travel about 500 odd km

Just that about 8ltrs different ...

Yes, pretty much enjoy the drive of the subby car character ...

Very in control with the car.

Each have it good and bad...

For xv - just the cabinet noisy isolation not as good as qq....

Otherwise .... go no comment and being enjoy driving....

Hope to get my ice setup during the school holidays ....

If based on that 8l alone, FC would b 12.5kml, wc I think v good for 2l awd

Not sure if due to the type of driving that the car goes through when new and the computer is learning the driving pattern and adjusting the CVT behaviour accordingly.

I suspect those who have long highway journeys and very little traffic jam type of stop-and-go traffic for first few weeks/months don't face such problems (even if they later drive in traffic jam stop and go traffic).  The car computer adjusts the CVT to be quite smooth and ok to drive.

Those with lots of traffic jam stop-and-go traffic daily I think are the ones where the computer may have trouble to adjust the CVT correctly.  Is your driving pattern having this type of traffic jam situation - esp. for first few weeks when you have this car?

The other factor is the driver.  I have the older version XV and I did not get used to the CVT and was not able to drive it smoothly at first.  My wife had no problem at all and drove it smoothly from day 1.

Basically, CVT driving is different from other types of transmissions.  After a while, the car got used to my driving pattern (or maybe my wife trained it well) and I got used to the CVT - nowadays very smooth.

indeed my driving pattern is non-highway with stop-go traffic....

Just drive more and the juddering will go away. Mine always judder during moveoff in the morning. Took awhile and it's fine now.
