If cannot blame gov, then blame foreigners, if not then blame the bus manufacturer.....I am sure the bus brand is a foreigner brand. There you go......blame it on the outsider!! KARTer 2nd Gear January 4, 2012 Share January 4, 2012 (edited) apparently a bus had a rear tyre punctured.... and the driver decided to park it slanting over two lanes!!! (in the tunnel towards tuas just about 400m before the exit to havelock rd... the passengers were forced to get out and walk in the tunnel towards the nearest exit ramp.... the engine cover at the rear was opened... so its likely that the bus couldnt be shifted to the side due to engine problem? otherwise for goodness' sake, do not block two lanes!!! the affected tyre was in pieces.... serious mulfunction or owner of bus trying to use the tyre till the last 0,1mm thread, no regard for routine inspection/maintenance?? or blame overloading? or some passengers too heavy?? It was a terrible jam all the way to Bukit Timah exit at about early 7 plus. the unfortunately passenges were walking on the kerb about 800mm above the edge of lane3..... a walk they will not forget until CNY?? but lucky its cte tunnel breakdown, not another MRT tunnel one Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
