Advice on my cracked exhaust!

Hi guys,

my workshop told me that my exhaust is cracked and the whole thing needs to be changed. He quoted $260+..Is this a good price? or is there a way to get around it? My inspection is coming soon.. :(

What car? 260 to repair or replace? Which part crack?

 

Last time my stock also got crack... Mechanic said I wack too hard??? Find it hard to believe...

hey thanks for the reply,

its a getz and 260 is to replace the whole thing..he didn't specifically said which part is crack..only say the "whole thing" needs to change a brand new one... :S

Dude as long your exhaust cracked or broken or tampered with, you'd be better off paying $260 than $500.

Agreed... 260 for to replace stock exhaust is cheap...

make sure you are replacing the cracked exhaust pipe with original ones... whether its 2nd hand or new, it doesnt matter, LTA DO NOT ACCEPT REPAIR OF EXHAUST... if you insist to repair, get ready for $500 fine if get caught...
