Hi All

I need assistance.

I have a car camera and I need to setup the time & date, but I lost the instructions manual.

it requires the user to setup a simple program using windows notes.

Can anyone assist?

Thanks in advance.

Turbocharged

if its the milo tin, try this

create a file in your sdcard, name it

time.txt

inside this file,

yyyy.mm.dd 24hr.60min.60sec Y

y = display

eg.

2012.01.26 08.50.00 Y

the milo tin is real dumb. manual never state how to reset date/time, and the mode buttons don't give you options to do it.

i had to google the answer and try..

next time, don't let the milo tin run out of battery.. everything will be gone..

I don't think it is a problem, why not contact the supplier?

I am using the one CVR022 from S.WILL http://www.szswill.com/car-camera.html

It is a HD1080P car camera with GPS navigation, can capture 5.0 megapixel images, superb image quality.

I have used it for about 6 months, so far so good, I am happy with it.

TS's experience reminds me of our topo exercise many years ago:

We were all waiting in the last tonner for the last group which was very, very lost. ETA to base for all groups was 1800hrs but at 2200hrs the clowns were still nowhere in sight.

PC (p!ssed): Calling (callsign), this is (callsign). WTF ARE YOU NOW, OVER.

Lost group: (Callsign), we are next to a big tree beside a small stream. Can you advice our location, over.

Naturally when they finally reached our location at 0100hrs, our mad PC used every known Hokkien expletive on the five poor fellas.

[laugh] [laugh]
