Hope dealer will bring in more diesel car.

If there is more choice, my next car will be a diesel since I travel about 30k km++ per year. Having drove Golf TDI many times in Germany, modern diesel engine is good [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

Agree, tot they scrap either the special/ road tax totally and should reward cleaner diesel combustion/ efficiency.

VW polo diesel.

i'll seriously consider that now.

GTD (Diesel version of GTi) should be the weapon of choice. But at the moment, its a Europe only variant.

Current diesel tax structure for reference:

For a Euro IV, Euro V or Euro VI compliant diesel car, the special tax is computed based on $0.625 per cc for 6 months, subject to a minimum payment of $625 per 6 months (Note: for licensing period from 1 July 2008).
