Mine last quite a long time nearly 2yrs+. Low maintenance + FC quite OK lah.

If change last year, check when date change then maybe you just add 2 yrs. Also, depends pretty much on your usage style cos i always switch off aircon & audio power before switch off engine for better usage.

PS. Usually if change at workshop they will indicate on the battery date replaced.

You can try Spark Car Care (used to be Comfort Delgro Engineering), authorized workshop for Hyundai though the prices are only marginally cheaper than Komoco.

Alternatively, you can try AutoSaver. Their prices are much reasonable and also uses Hyundai original parts too.

Thanks for sharing, Bro.

My White Avante 1.6L Auto car needs servcing soon. I haven't reached 100K yet. But the warranty cover is either 100Km or 3years.

Might not go back Komoco. Too expensive. Will go outside authorised servcie provide.

You can also try AOTO. Their mechanics used to work at Komoco before and specialized in Hyundai cars too.

(edited)

just hooted a 2nd hand Hyundia Avante , Would like to do full service tomorrow at Lavender Esso, run by Gary. Knew this from Sgcarforum.

Anyone did service there can give some feedback on the service and how the charge like?

I would like to do:

1. Engine and Auto Gearbox Flush

2. Replace Engine and gearbox oil.

3. Steering and break oil.

4. change coolant

5. Change oil and air filter

What else?

Beside Mobil 1, what others oil is highly recommend?

Don't have to change the whole alternator. Just replace the carbon bushings inside will do...

Seriously all minor parts are DIY and the parts I'll get it at Ming Ee...Worst it maybe the coiling that burnt out..then changing the carbon wont help..best to get it replace whole parts...
