I am driving a Altis for 6 yrs already. Avr FC now is about 12km/l. HP on the brochure is 110. Overall the car is good except the front pillar is too big and limit driver view on the right. You should check this out on the Axio. BTW I dont like CVT gearbox as it take away the fun of driving. 4AT still give you the power to control the HP whenever you want, the best next to manual gear. Tohto Hypersonic May 14, 2012 Share May 14, 2012 (edited) Get the Allion, the interior is lot better than the Altis or Axio. I think Altis price is almost same as Allion. FC is super good. You can get 13-15km/l easily even on 16" tyre and quite heavy foot. I own it for almost 3 yrs before change to conti last year. Dscheng 3rd Gear May 15, 2012 Author Share May 15, 2012 (edited) Hmm.. ytd i test drive axio. Pickup not bad, but the interior and feature turn me off. The suspension is really too soft. Is Axio has a roughly engine sound while intial pickup? I think altis is a better ride than axio. I also test drive civic 1.6 09 model, wow. Quite impressive. Passion 5th Gear May 15, 2012 Share May 15, 2012 Altis HP only 107 for 2008 model. Only 2010 and later model then it comes with 122HP if I'm not wrong. Singapore Altis and Axio are bare minimum model, regardless whether is it Elegance or LX. If you want atas feeling, go for Premio or Allion. If you want peace of mind, go for Altis. Anything wrong, don't worry BM will close down. For PIs car, will have to worry if they honour their warranty or even if they are still around.
