I tried the Altis after Hipporolla (2005). Was quite bad. That's why I switched away. Axio was more true to form of Corolla. But maybe the 09 Altis has improved.

I personally find the 2005 altis handling is better than the current altis?! Dont know it is just about me or the car?!

Ya i tested, altis & axio & civic 1.6. I think i will go for honda lolz. It is much a better ride, of course more expensive :(

In we are in Japan now, Axio is the obvious choice.

Now both cars are in Singapore, so get the Altis.

What can better interior get you to or help with reliable parts supplies, workshop support and ultimately fall back to agent as last resort.

When the corolla change the design to Hipporolla from 2001, the car is so light that it floats during high speed. This Hipporolla super light steering only change from 2004 onwards where the steering becomes heavier. I remember during 2003 era, my colleague give up buying the Hipporolla, cause dont like the super light steering.

2001 to 2003 where got Altis? Altis only come out in 2005 isn't it? Anyway the Altis steering is light at low speeds and progressively heavier at higher speeds. Sometimes it is so light during low speeds that i tend to hit full lock if i wasn't careful during parking.

So fast butt itchy liao ah.. haha.. Honestly, rex is a very high maintenace car. Most just wanna hv a feel of it for a while. Get the Axio or Allion if possible. Made in japan better quality and finishing.
