Shibadog Turbocharged January 21, 2019 Share January 21, 2019 if driving to Thai and want to find a hotel in BKK for a stopover that is: 1) outside main city center (hopefully less traffic) 2) secure parking, preferably covered 3) walkable distance to BTS (or MRT also can) and ideally room rate below SGD120/night (since its outside city center) any recommendations for specific hotels or general location? or is this asking for too much? LOL I briefly looked in Agoda but there're too many to check in detail.

Plenty of affordable hotels along the stretch of beach.

Otherwise i'd never drive into BKK. plan to drive in, park for a few days, use public transport as needed, then drive off when i'm done.
