"Do not tailgate" sign

I always see "Do not tailgate" sign along our E-ways.... but where is the "Do not hog the road" sign??? Does that means road hogging is acceptable ??

Oh preeaasse, if you think this is an issue, then the expressway should be littered with hundreds of signs like "Do not filter without doing safety checks and signalling your intentions", "Keep lane discipline", "Do not use handphone while driving", "Please turn on headlights after 7p.m.", "Do not forget to insert cashcard before passing ERP gantry"....

I agree with Bluepica they should put back the old sign board Keep Left Unless Overtaking which will solve road hogging problem.

Actually tailgaters won't be reading those signs since they are concentrating on the butt of the car in front. So the 'Do not hog' sign might be more useful.

Road hogging is just inconsiderate. Tailgating is dangerous. Then you might as well ask them to put the sign do not drive too slowly beside the do not speed sign as well. lol.

I think it has a reverse psychology effect. What ever you dun want drivers to do they will purposely do it. And dun put so many signage on the roads, it's distracting.

 

TP also put up banner that says "speeding kills" but you think the Ferrari prc driver took notice and slow down? Do not waste your time.

No point la, roadhoggers are oblivious to their surrounding... won't make any difference.

 

Do signboards like these work? For example, will people slow down when they see "Slow Down" signboard? Actually, I think the only signboard that drivers take notice is "TP Ops Ahead".
