How to improve driver-hold in seats without bucket seats?

Hi all,

Is there any way to improve the holding of driver in the existing normal car seats without going for bucket seats?

Any after-market inserts or tied-down cushions?

What I saw selling in Autobacs are more for therapeutic back/hip support.

Thanks for any advice!

velcro

or drive slower [:p][:p]

Hmm.....that's a good one actually which gave me another idea....

For the velcro idea to work, my suit or clothes wth the velcro have to be secured to my body else I will be thrown out naked with my clothes stuck to the chair [laugh]

...so with the strait-jacket concept...

The idea is to tie the driver to the chair so the shoulders won't slide. The butt can be easily secured with hip cushions.

Now it is how to tie my shoulders to the chair (safely), where I can still easily untie myself..... ??

My main issue is with my shoulders. When I corner hard, I'm hanging on to the steering wheel more than steering and keeping the cornering line.

In the end, I don't corner as hard as my car could take on.

Always bring a pair of scissors. Or, always have a girlfriend as passenger to help you untie.

That sounds kind of kinky which my gf would have enjoyed tremendously. She would have teased me both with her hands and the scissors while I am still strapped [laugh]

For sure, just make sure she cut the right stuff...

eat more.. focus on saturated fats and carbo . make bum big big ... fits like a glove.

I have been stuffing myself but sadly only my gut has grown bigger....damn.

What is it with middle-aged men that whatever we eat is diverted to expanding the gut?

There are a few other parts which I would have preferred the expansion to be allocated [laugh]

wrap everything in alcantara... but driving clothes also may need to strategically sew on alcantara + steering wheel

Thanks for your input.

It gave me an idea to customise one that I can put on and zip up on the seat so I can easily revert back to original look.

For steering wheel, I will stick to using gloves.

Cheers!
