Car camera recommendation

I am looking for car camera and have almost decided on i-road either Q7 or X9  until

I chance upon this brand ,Marbella KR6S and called them to understand better

The salesperson told me it is both front and back , HD.

Tt is cheaper than i-road, sleeker in size and it record even when at parking mode w/o draining or required backup battery.

Anyone has any experience w this brand or any insight to offer ?

I installed the more expensive HELLA DR820 for $399 at Eclipse Auto... same thing as iRoad V9S2. Same experience as above... clear and user friendly... especially when using the mobile app... price includes wifi dongle but not GPS dongle.

At $399 , does it include installation or just product price ?

Ok, understood where you're coming from, based on your own deductions.  Earlier your statement was a firm "Hella is a  rebadged iRoad".

All good, we're all trying to help.

Well... it looks identical on the outside plus the specs are identical... the app also looks almost identical except for the logos... so I guess it's true... not particularly important to me cos the Hella cost much less than the iRoad...

Also no reason for the installer to bluff me lor... cos Hella is well known brand in automotive circles...

Hi guys, do you think rear dash camera is necessary?

good to have it may provide a better pic of what had happened. Get those cheap one like xiaomi 70 at about $50 (without installation and card) and diy is good enough.

Hi....  [wave]

Any recommendation for latest version of car cam. Price range from $300/- to $500/-

Have not view this threat for the past 3 years and currently my Thinkware FX500 of 3 years is giving problem now. Thinking of changing it and good brand currently on the road. ^_^

Thanks.
