Hi guys, I am planning to install wide body kit to make my Neo looks like this:

I know its not LTA friendly but I still want to go for it. Other than looks, what are the benefits of wide body? Does it make the car more stable at corners?

u need push the wheels out to benefit from stable cornering

Yes, I will be pushing the wheels out as well.

My stock body is 1710mm while the S2000 is 1800mm. This means I need to push the wheels out by 45mm per side.......

there will be more wear on your suspensions if you push the wheels out

then the car's aerodynamics will be affected, expect a slight increase in fuel consumption

also bodykits are heavy, if not done properly after a few months the kit will start sagging from the car's body

unless good paint is used or you put 2x layers of paint, after a few months there will be a noticeable difference in color between the car's body and bodykit

other than that, no problems at all!

Just a slight off-tangent question - are there negative effects of using wheel spacers to push the wheels further out?
