Becos of opportunity and ease such things can be removed (not so sure abt the rims part, but if u hv 4 bricks...) Anyone got their antenna stolen before and manage to recover it? forget it, just go to accessory shop and another antenna.... My was stolen when my car was less than 1 yr old. Very tempted to steal others but after thinking twice, think its not worth to be a thief just for a few dollar stuff... I bought the aftermarket antenna and "seal it" with epoxy... unless the whole base it remove, otherwise, no one could steal from me again... Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bought a cheapo replacement one for few bucks n used for few months. But couldn't stand the look n reception quality n bit the bullet to buy the stock one from AD. Luckily mine no external antenna. But had a broken antenna on my previous ride. so bought replacement from scrap yard at Woodlands. I think $10. Lovemyride 4th Gear July 29, 2012 Share July 29, 2012 The one on my roof of the car, the rubber covering cracked and part of it flew off while driving. So now you can see the bare wires and a bit of the rubber part which has cracked but not fully. Soon, I will just have a white stick sticking out. Although it's cheap to replace, after reading this, I think I'd leave it alone, considering that it still serves its purpose well without the rubber covering.
