This stall used to be at Tyrwhitt Road near Jalan Besar but the coffeeshop has closed down. The stall has now moved to:

145 Upper Paya Lebar Road

Serve decent thai food (pineapple rice, fried fish tom yam soup, etc) at reasonable price.

For those who are patronised them and wondering where they have moved to. The boss uncle Ben and his wife are very nice people too.

For your information.

But is the food nice?

My favorite Thai food so far is the one at Suntec Food Court. I love their dong feng and tom yam soup... [:)]

For me, I think the food is nice. Not expensive too. A plate of fried kangkong for $3, pineapple rice for 2 at $4, fish Tom yam soup for $3.50 . Anyway, it's just to let those who used to patronise them know where the stall has moved to, if there's any here...haha.

Eaten this stall before. Difficult to find parking lot during lunch hour.

The ex.coffeeshop is beside the mei tai wan salon.

Do u like the food?

Yes, parking is hard to find during lunchtime. I go during non-peak hour.

Perhaps coz the boss wife from Chiangrai? [laugh]

Fairer because they are ethnic chinese and direct descendants of those KMT soldiers seeking asylum at Mae Salong in Thailand. Learnt a bit when me and my friend had kopi with the boss uncle Ben after lunch on Sat after finally finding the stall.

Are they opening hours still the same? Or have they extended it to dinner as well? The tom yam soup is still the best I have taken in sg. But the problem is they don't open for dinner and public holidays
