I normally buy Nissan parts from fong tat or teck guan. But from my experience, fong tat is slightly cheaper.

JAE auto is also Nissan stockist but I never tried before.

i have purchased from JAE and price quite reasonable

My Teana horn is functioning and was told by a mechanic that it's due to the airbag system problem. A replacement would cost $400.

Any advise or used apart parts to recommend?

Turbocharged

Hi Folks, thinking of getting a 9 year old 2.0 Teana to renew 10 years COE. What are your opinions? It is good for me to hear the experience from the owners.

Nissan Teana J32.

Replaced 1 pair of front shock absorbers (original)+ bushing + labour = $500.

Mileage at ~126,000km.

Must do wheel alignment if shock absorbers replaced.

After changing the front absorbers, ride stability improved but not as perfect yet.

Ride feels a little bouncy.

Could be due to rear suspension or just simply due to old poorly -balanced tyres.

Is there any way to tell them apart before I put in money to change the rear absorbers?
