During the quarterly IT fair, i kept seeing these products sold by the small time bargain retailers. I think they were going about 30 bucks or sold. They look something like this. Ysc3 Twincharged October 14, 2012 Share October 14, 2012 (edited) i have one of these units ... but its only for SATA ... but can fit either 3.5" or 2.5", and the usual front multislot panel amd a USB 3.0 socket behind too !! i think its difficult to fit both PATA and SATA into the same slot as both's pin structure is different. Take out old HDD and plug into new computer as secondary HDD. Transfer onto a thumb drive. At the moment I have a copy of some of my photos on a laptop which files them in Picasa which is no longer being updated so I'm trying to use Google Photo but so far it has taken 3 hours to just upload just 500 photos and I have thousands.
