Doubletree website stated free wifi in lobby.

Did u enjoy free wifi in the room as well?

And appreciate if u describe the parking for cars. TIA.

Room wifi must join as member but membership is free. LPPL

Actually, this discussion about Doubletree should be in Road Trip to Malacca instead becos it OT from the thread title. ð

But doubletree same complex with new hatten hotel melaka lol

Driving in and staying in Hatten hotel on a Friday afternoon. Is the hotel parking easy to find a lot? Heard that it is a free public parking, end up a lot of people go there and park and go shopping at Mahkota.

Park on level 4 upwards. Plenty of available lots. Its not free public parking. Free for hotel guests; still need to endorse parking coupon before driving out.

Patrolled by Nepalese guards. Anyway, don't leave valuablez in ur car or any bags within sight. Lots of SG cars there. For ur peace of mind, I parked my beemers there every month when I stayed either Hatten or Estadia.

Additional info: FOC parking till 2359 hrs on same day even after you have checked out & had parking coupon endorsed. I know that for Novotel, have to exit carpark within 15 mins.

Enjoy ur drive there.

I do observed the guards are more onz than other hotels I stayed. Can also try valet parking. I see many singapore cars using their valet parking service Edited by Extremme

I just came back today, stay at Estradia over the weekend, everytime when I visit Melaka will either stay at Estradia or Hatten and both share the same carpark. So far so good for me. Park at level 4 onwards, a lot of sg car.

BTW Fenix a 3 star hotel near Hatten/Estradia got their own carpark meant for hotel guest only.

The new Hatten Place which shared same carpark as Doubletree is good too.
