Gee 1st Gear January 2, 2013 Share January 2, 2013 Gunners fired blanks --- It could be deem as the new norm, where gunners failed to maintain consistency in performance. From showing nerve of steel after subduing the Magpies with their goal answering retaliation three times and finally added 4 miseries to the tally, to firing blanks against Soton on New Year's match. It took an OG to level at 1-1 FT, although Theo's free kick seemingly curled in its way to the net at far end post. The match also saw annulled Soton 2nd goal by off side that replay shown otherwise. Lamenting Theo's claim ignorance to the Gunner's crisis, this match shows pretty much otherwise. From first half to second, Soton look the more consistant whereas the visitor's performance plunged. Subs Giroud, Gervinho and Ramsey were all but ineffective other than holding the score to a standstill. Considering next tough matches this is one Gunners should have bagged full points.
