try these Airlines directly on their website.

MU - China Eastern : SIN-PVG-JFK

CA - Air China : SIN-PEK-JFK

BR - EVA : SIN-TPE-JFK

UA - United : SIN-SFO-EWR (Newark Airport)

Among the 4, I will only take EVA.

MU a 5hrs flight to shanghai sucks already. I don't even want to think about inter-continents flight.

I am narrowing my airline choices now.

1. Qatar

2. Emirates

3. British Airways

My fren say Qatar is good for its timing. Overnight flight from SG and from JFK airport so more day time in NYC.

Also my fren say must apply for ESTA. So no problems with US customs although Singapore is under visa waiver program. Did you guys apply for ESTA? Must pay USD14 for applying it online.

niagara falls is more scenic at canadian side but i think maid of the mist ride and the overhanging glass overlook area is on USA side.

Canadian side got some small resorts and casinos.

U can go Central Park if u are curious. It's just beside Museum of natural history.

Brooklyn bridge?

Basically i went there and walked to many places I've only seen on TV. Just to see it in real life, like Waldorf astoria, the plaza hotel, Rockefeller center.

Going DC or boston is quite easy also.

Must apply for ESTA, don't play play.

You don't want to take a 20 hrs flight there then they ask you to U-turn back.  [laugh]

I took Maid of the Mist on the Canadian side last time.

Studied there for 3 years and been there 7 times.  [laugh]

Sometimes weekend nothing to do just drive to Niagara Falls.

Unfortunately i never take before. maybe when my kids are older, i'll bring them.

I do want to go back.

ESTA approved. Can now book flight tickets and look for hotel.

Qatar airways cost $1,500.

SQ cost $2,200 but its premium economy.

Worth the $700 difference?

Any hotel at Niagara Falls in US and Canada to recommend?

Not direct flight. Direct flight not started yet. If got direct fly, then at that price is worthwhile.

Qatar is 2 stop right?

If 2 stop, might as well pay more for SQ.

Qatar service is good. I will save the $700 to spend there.

How about the flight time and transit time?
