Insurance ex - For impreza, insurance is like any sedan car... unless you are referring to wrx.
Elfenstar 3rd Gear December 3, 2012 Share December 3, 2012 so far, it's come down to the following (budget can be a bit higher by not pass $45k) Jazz Swift Mazda2 March (not in any particular order) Would be even better to hear from direct past experience with these cars. thanks folks All 4 you've listed are good and you can't really go wrong with any. Why don't you base it on condition instead? Just as an additional note, try for the current DE version of the mazda if you can. It's quite a bit better than the previous and the changeover was in 2008.
Elfenstar 3rd Gear December 3, 2012 Share December 3, 2012 Jazz 1.3 Mz2 1.5 Sirion 1.3 Swift 1.2 So far shortlisted but seems to be a tussle between Jazz and Mz2 Just saw your updated list. I test drove all when I before I bought my Demio in 2009. I picked the Mazda over the rest simply because it was the most fun to drive (went with the JDM instead of the local because of the colour it came in ). To break them down: Jazz 1.3 > best pickup and rear space Mz2 1.5> best handling and most fun to drive (GF still drives hers) Sirion 1.3> most comfy and best FC of the bunch Swift 1.2> most all rounded

Raytham Neutral Newbie December 4, 2012 Share December 4, 2012 Best pickup: I feel otherwise with Jazz. Probably, slowest in that lot! Sounds Strange among the few rides mentioed. Jazz with the IDSI engine seems to churn out the max torque and the lowest RPM, correct me if i am wrong.

Throttle2 Supersonic December 4, 2012 Author Share December 4, 2012 Thanks for all the suggestions. Plse keep in mind the fact that budget is one of the top criterias in the selection as car is going to be quite heavily under-utilized anything more than the basic is not quite necessary. this means no Beetles, Minis, 3ers, 5ers, Cclass, WRXs, and the likes... Little_prince Supersonic December 4, 2012 Share December 4, 2012 (edited) i got a soft spot for the mazda 2. quite a decent car. car of the year once upon a time iirc. drove a fit before. the FC is great. nothing speicial but nothing much to complain about either. maintenence also cheap. swift is generally a good car. but i had a bad experience once. wouldn't try it again. but most ppl find it ok. As compared between jazz and mazda 2, i find the size of the mz2 more compact than jazz. As i find jazz afterall still looks "big". Ladies looks good driving a mz2, esp if you choose the white colour.

I considering the newer Jazz and the newer Mazda2, not the outdated looking ones ↡ Advertisement
