Doing what u always been doing for half yr lifetime is no fun.

Pursue yr interest , chase yr dream.

Its NOW or never.

Just that the fear of creating another halo product like skoda with a runaway success can be quite a bit of concern. Like the disciple becoming the master.

Really looks like a modern version of the Datsun sss.

if u can afford it, then retire. If cannot then relook at the CPF redrawal.

Else continue to work lor, but last I check, there is no real incentive for companies to hire those beyond 45 years old due to the cost component.

I think there is no new ideas to grow inovative and pathway to the next step. Thats where the question of whether the next suites of leaders have slacken as well and just do the cookie cutter approach ..

Like maggie noodles. Take out of the pack - (resources ) from other countries and add water (money) and instant food ( productivity ) just that the ingredient - (heart ware ) may be still mis match.

Obviously, we dont want another flag tearing individuals to be added to the country.

Latest case from there, is to register twins as his sons when they were not his, to gain Singapore citizenship. Edited by Mkl22

If you love what you do, its like a boy going to the playground everyday. Whats not to like ?

I know of people who took passionate work to the next level and neglecting family life where the wife run road and the kid became real bad A$$ in school and all of a sudden, with so much money cannot buy time to reboot the last stage.

Well, he did worm his way out by bring the kid to see a psychiatrist for anger management in order not to be kick out of school.

Just that he somehow added some other form of improvement to the landscape by enrolling him to a martial arts class.

From a small time bully to a Awesome bully? well done...

whoa .. really.. and to think we poop poop all over our red passport.

*****

I bet he going to point to ICA that he was ill advise and hence the cmplication and to cast some doubt on who is at fault.

I know blameless society.

The ICA told him to apply for Singapore citizenship for the boys to facilitate the application of the travel document.

The man submitted the citizen application forms for both boys to ICA via email the next day. In the form for the sick boy, he declared that he was the father.

The next day, the couple went to the Singapore Consulate-General in India. The man gave the sick boy’s fake birth certificate to the consular officer, who granted the boy a document of identity in lieu of a passport. The boy was also registered as a Singapore citizen that day.

The boy entered Singapore two days later using the document of identity.

***

On Oct 10 that year, the man’s wife lodged a police report stating that her husband had gotten fake documentation for the boys and submitted it to the Singapore authorities in India to get clearance to take them back here.

Court documents did not state why she did so.

In court on Wednesday, Deputy Public Prosecutor Selene Yap sought six months’ jail for the man. His offences “strike at the core of our immigration laws and a clear signal should be sent to all would-be offenders”, she added.

The man’s lawyer, R Thrumurgan, asked for an adjournment to get medical and psychiatric reports which would be relevant for sentencing, as his client suffers from "a variety of ailments".

I had the impression that as a doctor, you have an option to be posted at Mayo clinic for 3 months attachment. Like a tour of duty.
