Damienic 5th Gear December 13, 2012 Share December 13, 2012 http://www5.mercedes-benz.com/en/vehicles/...elligent-drive/ BMW 5 Series and Mercedes Benz E-Class has been fighting for the crown this few years in Singapore , But will this newly updated E-Class take over the 5 Series top selling crown? Sad thing is that Mercedes has abandoned the old school 4 unit looking headlights. Of cos abandon lah..the 4 unit big small eye headlights is so ah pek looking and ugly. I will nv consider a merc had they kept that design...
Throttle2 Supersonic December 13, 2012 Share December 13, 2012 The only Mercedes I feel is the undefeated. Undisputed world champion is a white Mercedes CLS Fully agree. Nothing quite like it when it was first released Nothing quite like it 8yrs after. I may go back to the CLS in future.
Zyklon 5th Gear December 13, 2012 Share December 13, 2012 Don't like the nose on the avant garde. Current one looks better as a mid-size family sedan for someone that will buy it..that feeling of sporty elegance. Losing the quad headlights on e-class is like taking away the angel eyes on bmw. Of course, losing quad and looking like S-class is good, but losing quad and looking like A/B class is not so good... The big and agressive arc above the rear fender seems to be gone? That was nice. New tail light is nice. Clock is at the correct position. Steering wheel is nicer...then again, there doesn't seem to be much changes to the interior. Merc needs to understand that w212 interior feels aged when compared to the others and having an analog clock in the center console, as every other manufacturer is doing, is going to have limited effect. Mcscot 5th Gear December 13, 2012 Share December 13, 2012 I'd choose the current 5 series over the E class anyday!

Tayspiderx 3rd Gear December 13, 2012 Share December 13, 2012 Nice with the new led...though similar to how vee dub layout theirs...interior not much change unlike c class facelift....at least up lexus with a 13" screen
Bomby929 1st Gear December 14, 2012 Share December 14, 2012 but now only Elegance spec has the bonnet emblem. this is very important for a lot of ah peks. which means Avantgarde won't sell as well from now on. like that they are losing the E-class classic items!! And the clock.. aiya.. should be in the dash!!
