This kind of bike is normally used by a handicapped person. Its a 2b bike.

Like Shorty said, it's a 2b bike and usually used by disabled people who want to ride.

 

Since the driving centres do not have these bikes for a disabled person who wants to get his 2b, usually the person will have to buy the bike first and keep it at the driving centre for lessons. They do the same test as the 2b guys to get the license. If got license beforehand then no issue.

For safety reasons, my mum has always been very afraid of her children who harbour intention to ride a bike.

 

With such 3-wheeled bike, I think her worries would be greatly reduced.

 

BTW, how much does such a bike cost? Definitely more stable than a Vespa.
