Does RON100 give u better mileage? I tried for one tank and dont find it so. Went back to Vpower Racing.

With RON100, engine is more willing to rev to 4k RPM.

In addition, it feels more powderful.

Vpower racing is like snake oil le.

Tried.  RON100 in my experience burns much faster.  Yeah u get a bit more umphh, but not by a mile.  Some say its not worth the premium.  If u pump gas in MY, I thin their 97 is good enough for any car.

Most of the higher RON is due to additives that suppress knocking.

If your car engine does not knock with RON 92, there is no need to go for RON 98 or higher.

Since the price gap of RON 92 and RON 95 is very little, RON 95 will be a good balance.

Besides the higher price of RON 98, the additives tend to be toxic.

Twincharged

Pumped 5000 just now.

SGD2.37.  :a-confused:

shell price board : $2.39 for FS95.

** btw I dun pump shell ... and I just "full tank" last friday night. (SPC95)

Before Tharman raised petrol excise duty in Feb 2015, 95RON was retailing at $1.85/litre

Today, 95RON costs $2.37/litre & diesel at $1.85/litre

Tharman should abolish the raise in petrol excise duty.

COE dropped drastically over the past few months ... unlikely the GOVT will make it any easier for one to buy another car.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

this aside, a quick question :  NETT $80 is before or after discount ?

coz now shell say pump nett $80 can get free carwash ...
