Starting to look around to replace coming to 7yrs Honda FD ride. Any suggestion? Jap or Conti cars is fine. Thanks.

Key criteria : Need to be as quiet as the amount quoted can buy.

2nd hand E60 5-er?

Maybe trying to find a $150K very quiet stock car may be quite difficult. An altenative approach is to get a $145K reasonably quiet car then spend a further 5K to do aftermarket noise insulation and tire change, etc.

Maybe not an option for TS as he likes to listen to his music from the car speaker, otherwise, just use the free ear phone that comes supplied with our handphones. No need to even invest on a ear plug. [;)]

Lexus is superb. U can knock down a cyclist and claim that u thought it was a fallen tree branch. The law can't touch u as there's a precedent already. The law also acknowledged that lexus was that quiet.
