Anyone using Note 2, or for that matter any mobile phone as an in-car camera. How's the performance for use at night?

No issue, you will take the phone along with you when you leave the car.

Yes. Recording will stop. Definately using mobile phone as car cam is not practical in the long run. It is best to get dedicated in car video cam.

just get a car cam lah....very cheap cheap nowadays.

Better get a real dashcam. They have lots of features that your phone doesn't have like G sensor, parking mode, cyclic recording...

 

Oh and there are really stealthy ones nowadays, in case you are worried of people breaking into your car to steal it.

U can put blocking mode to prevent incoming call but note 2 drain battery very fast and get heated pretty fast. Apart from the bro who mention no g sensor. There is no looping and nite vision. not a good choice
