Dear all,

Would appreciate Opel and Chevrolet owners to provide feedback on their after sales service. Thanks!

Neutral Newbie

Never had any problems with Alpine Motors. I actually do most of my servicing outside (at RDY Autocare) as it's cheaper, but I've also gone back to AM a few times for more complicated repairs.

Thanks for the feedback. But if u service outside, will AM still honour the warranty ?

I got my Astra Tourer in early Feb and while it's early days, so far so good. My reverse camera went kaput after about a month and AG arranged for the vendor to come in and replace it. I got an appointment within 3 days and they fixed it within an hour.

Opel should supply white colour cars, the the logo turn 90 degree[look like P.A.P. logo],to P.A.P.,then if P.M. & Ministers used 1,then this brand sure famous...

lousy marketing.... <_<

I think they may suffer from the same issues as Skoda, as the product isn't that bad in my opinion. Unfortunate that shift_lock had that experience with AG's after sales but my own experience has been ok so far.

One major market space they're missing from is the mid-size sedan, as they don't offer anything here to compete with the Jetta, Corolla, Civic, etc.

Under the current political environment, that would kill their brand [;)]

so far been servicing w them after they took over Opel Dealership if they not too busy.

Yup, their sevice staff can be counted with 1 hand. THat is why sometimes v difficult to get service appt. Which is why I switch between them and the old Opel distributor. Old opel distributor now has become kind of like an independent workshop and their prices can be negotiated quite a bit. Autogermany only give abt 10% discount top, but the other side, can sometimes give up to 20%.

Service wise, both about the same imho. Pricing, sad to say, both are still expensive. But Autogermany shuttle bus driver's attitude kinda of like mmm....u need to try to know. v difficult to explain? LOL.

Have not tried CK motor in AMK or United Motors in tampines. Maybe folks who have tried them can give feedback.

go ck make sure bring along plastic bag.

why plastic bag? is it because when they remove your air bag, they tell u, u can replace it w plastic bag????

but seriously I was thinking,

plastic bag ...... service n pricing so scary u puke non stop.....

plastic bag ..... pricing cut u so badly u need the plastic bag to collect ur blood...

plastic bag .... u so mad at them, u put one over their head n suffocate them?

plastic bag .... simply to put your car's valuables into it.
