Low pressure warning

In Jan this year, my low oil pressure indicator came on. I sent my car for servicing, everything was back to normal.

Today, 5000 plus km later, the low oil pressure indicator came on again. I am sure there is nothing wrong with the oil pressure. What could be the cause? The indicator flickers on and off sometimes, not frequently

check your oil level.... there should be leakage somewhere. If confirm no leakage, then your oil pressure sensor is faulty.

Dun jump into conclusion first. This one can be Big$$$ or small.

If there is no external signs of leaks, have u experienced drop in engine power or noisy lifters?

How is the EO colour? brownish or black?Low EO level is definitely one of the causes.Poor circulation can also contribute to this problem, and can be resolved with cleaning of oil pump intake screen.

Wow try to get a 2nd opinion, think its not gonna be cheap if they need to remove the mountings too.

Hope its a minor leak at the gasket with lesser damage cost,

Maybe someone forgot to tighten the oil plug during your servicing.

In the mean time, get some cheap carl-be and pour in.
