Maybe urging the rich people to volunteer would be appropriate. They even mind to make their hands dirty. Seating comfortably behind their Porsche and Audi. They should be the one voluntering.

i don't blame him for working for the jap invaders during the second world war... it might be due to survival, like many bros here said

 

i'm just disgusted that the way he said it was like something very proud, very honourable

If i earn 1 mil a yr for 5 yrs, i swear i will become full time volunteer for the rest of my life.

 

However, unfortunately, too bad, not my willing, i got bills to pay.

 

On a serious note, i do volunteer as and when i can to the poor. Just not the govt prog like grassroot, to me that is waste time on show time.
