Comapred to F1 cars regular road cars have quite high ground clearance. The compromise is insignificant.

Kangadrool Supersonic June 17, 2013 Share June 17, 2013 (edited) Snake may slither in to hide, rats may sneak in to nibble at the cables, cat may curl in to enjoy the warmth (but becomes minced meat when you drive off)....... KaKiLang 4th Gear June 25, 2013 Share June 25, 2013 Raining day water will splash into your engine compartment.
RealLifeD90 Clutched June 25, 2013 Share June 25, 2013 Without fender, might get noisy when driving... Not to saying that wheel bearing faulty..
redhearttransport Clutched July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 I agree with the water splashing in part. Other cons is tires noise is relatively higher than normal. Also, u might hit some stones that can deal some damage in the engine compartment.
Vhtfhwlego Supercharged July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 sometimes I wonder why go to such lightening extreme? Aerodyanmics may add weight to car but very often it reduce drag. With bananaleaf, air at the fenders may flow out/downwards. Without bananaleaf, air channeled into somewhere not able to escape forming a parachute effect. Lighten 2kgs, need 20more BHP to overcome the drag. And more BHP for higher speed as air resistances is higher.
