Theres one stall in Bukit Batok blk 413 coffeeshop....nasi lemak with awesome fried chicken wings..only $2:50 (not sure whether the price has increased or not)....but line can be long in the morning.

that's why I want to know how they do it ... whatever KFC or Texas or Korean FC all cannot beat malay fried chicken ...

 

I acquired the taste during my upper primary school days ... when a piece of chicken wing was 30 cents !

 

indian meat also nice ... but I dunno why, I will have stomachache after every indian meal.

I like the upper one without the thick flour covering ...

 

even the oil inside the chicken is so fragrant when it just come out of the fryer !!

Usually the nasi pandang stall fried chicken with some rendang is nice.

I still ate my kfc 3 days ago. My cough and running nose recovered today.

one thing about malay fried chicken is that it has minimum batter which i like and its cooked over slow fire.

 

but somehow i observed that many malays prefers their fried chicken with lots of batter. Eg KFC spicy or mary brown.

Not only tumeric lar.....got ginger, lime leaves (i think) serai and a few other things. Must ask my wife. Eh...you asking for which one? The rice, the chicken or the soup? I prefer my wife chicken......put into flour, put into egg white and deep fry....ðð

No need to ask her and inconvenience her lah.

 

Just get her to fry off a batch when you come for meet up.
